The M Behind Logo Design

I designed these logos for Fricanna Press, my yet to be born book label. I wish logos were as easy to create as they look but this is not the case. Ask any graphic designer about creating and designing logos, and they would tell you it can turn into a full case of logo madness. Having access to so many fonts, colors and images doesn't help any, especially if you're the indecisive kind. My idea behind these logos was simplicity. I want my book press to represent something modern and inviting. After exploring several ideas, I came up with these trio. My final choice is the one on the extreme right. I like the visual aesthetic. There's something poetic about growth.
